I was reflecting with a friend a few days ago how much I enjoyed working in the Global Mobility industry (Corporate Relocation). I met so many wonderful people who have moved their lives to other countries and began again. People from well known companies such as Chevron, were some of my favorites. They had a uniqueness that drew in my curiosity. Sometimes I would meet them and help them when they were moving away; sometimes I would see them again when they returned. They always came home changed. They came home with a new understanding of this big, blue globe we live on and understood how important each and every life is. They came home less materialistic and full of thankfulness for life here in our beautiful Bay Area. It was a humbling experience. It in turn prepared me for a new career as a Realtor. Not only did I learn about an area that I was new to at the time, I learned to be watchful of my consumerism, sometimes failing. Either way, I am grateful for where I’ve been and what I’ve learned through that time of preparation. I am grateful for my time here as a Realtor wanting to give more than I take with those starting a new adventure and to my industry.
